# Reprocessed Chianti Databases

Data from Chianti v10.0.1 Database has been reformatted to the format of 
Chianti v7.1. The Chianti to Chianti converter script can be found [here](https://gitlab.nublado.org/cloudy/arrack).

Database with no cuts is called chianti_v10.0_full.tgz and 
chianti_v10.0_full.tar.xz.
Database with a cut on all autoionizing levels (NOAI - No AutoIonizing levels) 
is called chianti_v10.0_noai.tgz and chianti_v10.0_noai.tar.xz.

Note that files .xz and .tgz with the same name have the same content. We 
provide both formats for convenience of the user.  

The current Cloudy distribution C22 contains the NOAI Chianti database.
Details of how the reprocessed databases were created and tests on a few 
standard simulations using the NOAI databases is published in 
[Gunasekera et al. 2022](https://ui.adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2022arXiv220911792G/abstract).
